Be careful telling the truth
you could be found out.
Someone may detect
that the truths you tell about others,
are the lies you tell to yourself.
Be careful using truth
as medicine for some one
you care about. Sip it yourself
first and let its lemon juice astringe.
Perhaps then you may find
words that salve not sear.
Be careful displaying truth.
Truth is modest and suits
a low hemline.
Naked honesty lies
on a charlatan’s bed.
